Termite Treatments

Trademark Pest Solutions uses two treatment technologies for termites - Termidor® and the Advance Termite Bait System. Each one approaches termite elimination differently.

TERMIDOR

The Termidor treatment system begins with trenching around your home's foundation. This trench will hold the Termidor chemical compound. The chemical itself has been created from a truly revolutionary chemical treatment that is virtually undetectable by termites - meaning they cannot see, smell, taste OR AVOID the Termidor chemical. Instead, the contact and ingest the chemical and transfer it to their termite friends - thereby eliminating any termite nest. This process is called the 'Transfer Effect"tm. Termidor is a slow-acting chemical treatment, which gives termites plenty of time to infect and destroy their nest mates. Previously, older termite chemical treatments were simply designed to keep termites from breaking the barrier or avoiding it completely. However, Termidor is design to eliminate termites around your home. Termidor is a sound termite treatment. We've used this termite treatment method for hundreds of homes and businesses. Trademark also offers a baiting treatment for termites as well called Advance. This system involves setting out bait stations that attract and kill termite populations.

THE ADVANCE TERMITE CONTROL BAIT SYSTEM

A bait system is comprised of a series of 'bait traps', which are located in strategic positions around the perimeter of your home. At specified intervals, a Trademark Pest Control technician will check the traps for signs of termite activity.

When termites are found in a station, the 'Termite Inspection Cartridge' - which contains no active pesticide ingredient, is replaced with a termite bait cartridge WITH ACTIVE INGREDIENT. Termites then begin feeding.

As termites feed on the bait and return to the colony, they share the termite bait with their nest mates and send other termites back to feed on the bait. As feeding continues, more and more termites become infected which causes the colony to slowly die.

Upon the elimination of the colony, the bait will be replaced with a new termite inspection cartridge by a Trademark technician. We then resume a regular inspection schedule and respond accordingly if new termite colonies are discovered.

Trademark also offers a baiting treatment for termites as well called Advance. This system involves setting out bait stations that attract and kill termite populations.

Our approach is to first identify the species of ant. This will dictate the method by which we treat - and eliminate - the colony. Finding the location of the nest is the next step since this is where the ant population resides.

Chemical control of ants can be applied as barrier treatments, drench treatments, direct application to nests or bait treatments.
